Common questions

A recall is listed but my car was already fixed. Recalls are matched by make, model and year. Check your specific VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls.

No results for my car. Use the exact US model name (for example "F-150", not "F150 truck"). Vehicles not sold in the US aren't covered.

The data looks wrong. RecallScout shows NHTSA's data as published. Report data problems to NHTSA at nhtsa.gov; report RecallScout problems to us.
